Carolyn Sinclair — Designer & Art Director
I’m a designer and art director with more than 25 years of experience in branding, advertising, marketing campaigns, print, and digital communications. I help organizations, cultural institutions, and creative teams turn complex ideas into clear, distinctive visual work.
After graduating from Parsons School of Design, I worked in fashion and retail advertising in New York and Boston, including two years as an art director at Talbots. After moving to New Orleans, I became a senior art director at Peter A. Mayer Advertising, developing integrated campaigns for tourism, hospitality, healthcare, entertainment, and consumer brands.
As an independent art director and designer, I create brand identities, advertising, social media, websites, event materials, and other print and digital communications. My clients include cultural and nonprofit organizations, tourism and hospitality brands, advocacy groups, and consumer businesses.
My experience also includes serving as Interim Executive Director of Save Our Cemeteries, where I led operations, marketing, communications, fundraising, public programming, and a comprehensive rebranding and website relaunch.
My work has been recognized by the Advertising Club of New Orleans, the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International, the Art Directors Club of New Jersey, and the Graphic Artists Guild of America. It has also appeared in Retail Adweek’s annual “Best Of” edition and in the book Shopping Bag Design 2.
