Hi, I'm Carolyn Sinclair

Well versed in all areas of advertising, design and marketing, I combine years of solid experience with a creative eye.

After graduating from Parsons School of Design, I worked in fashion and retail advertising for many years in the New York and New Jersey areas. I continued that fashion focused work in Boston when I spent two years at Talbots. In 1998, I moved to New Orleans and joined Peter A. Mayer Advertising, where I developed successful marketing campaigns for a diverse and prestigious list of clients, including New Orleans Tourism, Louisiana Tourism, Ochsner Medical, Harrahʼs Casinos, Stewart Enterprises Funeral Services, Delta Queen Steamboat Company, New Orleans Tourism, Louisiana Tourism, Sheraton Hotel New Orleans and Sonesta International Hotels.

After Hurricane Katrina, I went out on my own. As the owner of Sinclair Studios, I designed logos, brand identities, advertising, social media and marketing materials for esteemed clients such as Hotel Commonwealth Boston, LAS Shutters + Windows, Michalopoulos’ New Orleans Rum and CANE Rum, Black Magic Rum, and more.

In 2018 I joined the non-profit Save Our Cemeteries as their Advertising and Marketing Director. After a year, I was appointed Executive Director. It was an exciting time and I loved working to promote and preserve the beautiful cemeteries of New Orleans.

Now I'm ready for new adventures and challenges in the marketing and advertising world.

My work has been honored by the Ad Club of New Orleans, the Art Directorʼs Club of New Jersey, and the Graphic Artist Guild of America. It has been featured in Retail Adweekʼs year-end “Best of” edition (1990) as well as in the book Shopping Bag Design 2, by Judi Radice (1991).
